My name is Allison. I live in a small town in central Ohio. I am married to my best friend in the entire world, we married last June and bought our home around the same time. Throughout the past year we have adjusted to living the "adult life." Both Ben and I work full time jobs and are determined to renovate our home, which was built in 1900, and needs a lot of updating. Ben works as a Little Debbie distributor and is building his photography business on the side. I work as an Intervention Specialist at the middle school level for students with moderate/intensive needs in our local school district.
My favorite hobbies include playing with our dog, crafting, camping. I enjoy antiques, DIY projects, renovating our home, cooking and baking. My favorite color is pink and I love watermelon and pizza.
Please read often. I will post recipes, pictures of our adventures and lives, renovations, and DIY projects.
Today I finally conquered making graduation cap boxes. I wanted to make a small box to fill with candy, money, jewelry, gift cards, or anything else a graduate might enjoy. After several failed attempts I was successful. I was able to make a sketch of sizes, folds, etc.
Final picture of the boxes. One filled with candy and special treats.
Empty box. just big enough to put a gift card in.
Final product.
My sketch and outline for the box.
